Anjos is a very peculiar neighbourhood in one of Lisbon's most multicultural quarters: Avenida Almirante Reis. Anjos is relatively cheap, convenient and lively.
You can expect plenty of 2nd hand clothes stores, quite a few typical "tascas," bakeries, bars and cafés.
There is a metro station and it takes less than 5 minutes to get to the city centre. IST University is also near, making it a great neighbourhood for IST students. Buses also run up and down Almirante Reis all the time.
