6-bedroom farmhouse in Amarante
This property is a century-old house and is located on a 6,214 m2 plot of land in Amarante.
The location of this property is very pleasant, as it is on the hillside of the city, offering both privacy and stunning and unobstructed views of the city.
The land is divided into three sections:
1) main house with garden (1,684 m2)
2) rustic land (with vineyard, orchard, vegetable garden) measuring 2,546 m2
3) land with caretaker's house measuring 1,984 m2
1) The main house was renovated and extended with 3 suites and a living room. All the rooms on the ground floor are made of stone, with access to the garden and large glazed structures. The project was designed by architect Manuel Botelho, who achieved the best of modernity without compromising the identity of the manor house. The house, in the "old" part, has a large kitchen, dining room, living room with fireplace and bathroom, while on the ground floor there are 3 suites, an office, porch and a bathroom.
Access to the "new" part is via the same main entrance hall, which is spacious and bright.
Features;
- There are three access gates to the property
- Several sources of water (wells/boreholes), which allow the house to function properly and the vineyard and cultivation to be carried out.
The farm produces wine and has a variety of fruit trees, a very well-kept vegetable garden and decorative trees around it.
The caretaker's house is inhabited, an open garage next to the main house, a machine room, a regional kitchen and other support/maintenance structures for the house and agriculture.
